Every year, builders across the nation “blitz” a house for Habitat for Humanity. The blitz is different than the typical volunteer experience many people associate with Habitat for Humanity.

Pratt Home Builders has a long history with partnering with Habitat for Humanity. After celebrating 20 years as a locally-owned, family-owned business Pratt wanted to give back to the community in a more meaningful way, so this year, Pratt is the first ever Chattanooga sponsor of a Home Builder’s Blitz home. This means Pratt will assist with home plan design, provide the labor and all the materials and build the home in approximately three weeks.

The homeowner has already been selected and will be continuing her “sweat equity” throughout the build.
