Pratt Home Builders Celebrates Land Donation Near Walden’s Ridge Park

Chattanooga, TN – May 29, 2025 – In keeping with its mission to create thriving communities and preserve the natural beauty of the region, Pratt Home Builders is proud to commemorate the almost third anniversary of its 2022 land donation near Walden’s Ridge Park.

In November 2022, Pratt Home Builders generously donated 1.55 acres of scenic land adjacent to the W Road Quarry to Hamilton County. This vital contribution provided access to Reads Lake Road, which in turn helped unlock the potential of one of Chattanooga’s most cherished outdoor spaces.

The donated land has since become an integral part of the lower trailhead of Walden’s Ridge Park, a growing destination for hikers, bikers, and nature lovers alike. The county continues to explore the best use of this area to ensure it meets community needs while preserving the ecological integrity of the space.
